Yea, ditto with Claw. This has several nuances and certainly laws about brokers vs. your responsibilities in this kind of case, and certainly the timeline that has gone on. Seek council.

What state you in most states have statue of limitations on how long they can bring a claim against you and if they are out then let the rough end drag but remember this is an affirmative defense so if they do you should seek legal advise and respond.

Oh and don't pay any of it if the statue is out because it will toll it ;-) Seek local legal advise!!!
