With me was the same I got my WAMU shares in a German account and they send my everything on paper, but I had to fax it upfront, and in the mail, because of the deadlines. Later I got a conformation in writing

"However,the shares still show up in my account with a value and same cusip.....I brought this up with my broker(US)and she said her back office(Corporate Actions)said all was OK and under control.I also have an email from her confirming this.... "

same on my german account .. :)
