hansro - The Chinese holding our soldiers is truly a low grade act of war. Nobody wants to say the word but it is. Spying on each other is not a new thing. It is what countries do. Everyone knows it. (OT) hansro - I don't follow your reasoning. You state that we were in International airspace but think that we should apologize for being in sombody else's airspace? I don't think so. The Chinese have had a massive ongoing intelligence gathering operation going on over here for decades... a little late for them to be offended by the US engaging in offshore intelligence gathering activities. This is always a problem with countries where the miltiary is more powerful than the civilian authorities. This is more about an internal political ploy within China than it is about us.
