Exactly. To me it is a great thing for the elderly patient, but more so even for the family of one that wants/needs to keep up to date on what is going on with their mom/dad or grandparent that is either in a senior home or gets taken care of by a caregiver in their own home. The senior citizen will use a PHR for sure, but how valuable is it for the family of one to be able to go online everyday and see what is going in? Invaluable. Plus the money being spent for elderly care is out of this world, so adding $100 or $200 for a PHR is nothing for the kind of service it provides.

Same goes with the race horse idea. It is a niche with a need AND money that is available to be spent.

I think their prime demographic is the Student Athlete more so it is of the elder. My concern with the elder demographic (though I agree that they are a good demographic to target) is their lack of drive to adapt and embrace new technology. Get these prepaid cards into College's and Physical Therapy office's. Your average athlete visits the doctor or physical therapy many times a year. Physcal therapy offices are great because they not only care for athletesattractor those coming in for an injury due to recreational activity. Heck, may as well reach out to chiropractors and personal trainers as well. May as well have my trainer fax over my exercise program so my chiropractor can review to be sure he is prescibing me the correct exercises.
