Loop- I totally/100% agree with Chartex. The Cohen theory cannot be ruled out. Even if the Q story was a short term manipulation, no doubt potential raiders collectively raised their eyebrows.

IDCC's BoD will need an Investment Banker to sign off on any offer..IMO:I know of NONE that will, prior to a Lucent resolution, including a Nokia , Siemens,Ericsson, Samsung, Lg , Motorola , etc. 3G true up...Stockholders are free to sell their shares to willing buyers at a price of $17.15 or so..or Dream about an absurd, unsupportable $32 take out prior to IDCC licensing those they have placed on Written notice for Infringement.

Bingo, give this man a gold star. There has been an effort to determine the possibility of purchasing IDCC by folks from the land of fruits and nuts for 3 years now. The biggest obstacles all along have been Bill N. and the individual shareholders with their firm beliefs and expectations. Mr. Cohen and friends have managed to weaken the grips of many long term shareholders with posts about easy collections of the final award followed by criticism of management for not begging for a pay cut.

2g has been a hard ride that is about to finish with a nice result. The FUD is now designed to convince the individual shareholders not to ride the 3g roller coaster if they can get a few goodies to leave the amusement park. Cohen and friends threw a 32 dollar trial balloon to get a read on the group. I believe they are pleased with what they are seeing.

I posted that I believe my fellow shareholders will sell me out in a heartbeat and I have seen nothing but affirmations of my belief since. Cohen and friends have the ladders on the walls and the deserters are falling into his nets. He is dividing the float and this will engage the next step in his plan.

I don't agree Loop. We're down right now and anybody can see why some long term share holders are depressed. Even you are just a little bit negative. Tell me that this is not a negative statement. "I posted that I believe my fellow shareholders will sell me out in a heartbeat and I have seen nothing but affirmations of my belief since."

Tell you what. If nok pays the 250 mill and we get even into the low $20s, you will see a dramatic turn around. No body will be selling individual shares let alone contemplating on a sell out. Remember how the whole board was flying when the initial award was announced? Everybody was on board. Jmo. .. .. nic

Loop –

Again this year, Bill Dalglish sponsored a group meeting in conjunction with the Annual Stockholders Meeting. I feel fortunate to have been in attendance. At the pre-ASM, Rev. Dalglish said the he had recently received a telephone call from Corpgold or Parq (Mr. Darrell Smith). The purpose of his call was to seek Rev. Dalglish’s opinion about what would be the stockholder’s expectations regarding a 2G settlement dollar amount if combined with a 3G royalty rate. Obviously, this scenario did not materialize. Rev. Dalglish may want to expand on this.

This Jagnote rumor is just the latest chapter of trawling the IDCC message boards to canvas the “informed” stockholders about what may be an acceptable IDCC buyout price. In my opinion, there are forces in place to assist with these efforts regardless of who the corp buyer may be.

Loop OT, Went to downtown (Frankfort IL.) last night as every thursday it's crusing night and people come from far around to show off their old cars. They have one little park and only a few blocks of businesses and no stop lights.

You should have seen all the neat cars. A guy had a 32 Packard he wanted 85,000 for. I told him I would give him some IDCC for it. He said I never hear of that car so what kind of engine and transmission does it have? I said hell if I knew that I wouldn't trade you. LOL

Me and Norfolk then went to the bowling alley (which is on the second floor and only has 8 alleys and 3 pool tables) and had a beer.

It's a real neat little town. Just about five years ago the only tavern in town took down the rail out it front where you tie up your horse. Tavern been there and hasn't been remolded since 1860.

Excuse the OT but I'm just trying to loosen up things on the thread.

loop: thanks, you are saying what have been saying for years now. You say it much better than me. I usually go to jail for what I say. LOL

IMO there are sleepers on these boards ae well. We have new poster with born dates in 2003, but not many post. The ones they have posted are mainly negative to IDCC. Most of them now support a buy-out. IMO IDCC has a hard road ahead. They will have everyone coming at them from all sides.

BTW nicmar thanks for the kind words. I was feeling left out. You have been hitting mschere & other longs hard. I was wondering when you would get around to me. And yes I am & will be one of the last ten standing.

loop,

I just dont get why people that post on this board can not express there feeling without being put down. Everyone invested their own money to buy this stock so why cant they sell to qcom at $32 or $22 or $12 or $52 or any other number without being criticized or being accused of selling someone out?

I dont like being manipulated by corpbuyer, onceinalifetime or the many diehards that go the other way, but the regular guys that have no agenda should be able to say what they want or buy/sell as they please whether it is good or bad for you or idcc.

Sell you out in what way? Do you mean that you will be forced to sell at $32 when 3g will bring you $132? How do you know and why should I or anyone else let you determine when the right time to sell would be? Why would you expect someone that has invested tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars to give a shat about selling you out?

Your incite has been of great value to me over the last five years and your opinion is greatly valued but you have gone a little too far by calling people sellouts because they dont agree with your opinion. Even the really smart guys make some mistakes sometimes and sometimes even with their investment decisions.

Best of luck to you and I hope you end up being right.

ssalner
