The efficiency in comparison to other units on the market is what will determine where we stand within the market.

And how do you expect that to be accomplished when other units claim 99% efficient?

a whole house unit it really should be capable of a 50 degree temp rise at 3gpm minimum

I don't think 3gpm is near adequate for a whole house water heater. 50 seems a bit low also. Wonder if there is a standard they must meet to be labeled as whole house? TONY - any idea?

refer to older post maybe last week hockmir and gharma did a great calculation on power consumption required... even though it didnt work out in our favor...

the only problem with a point of use is that most pou do not already have electrical run and you would need to run from the breaker because of the load on the circuit... I think your price range might be a little low i am hoping for 600 to 800 on the whole home unit.. if this product does not need yearly maintenance as the others out there do that will still be comparable in my book. also the heat in the pipes is negligible because there will always be some loss and that is with any system

recently i have thought this might have more of a commercial application were it could easily be run off of a 480 or maybe a pool heater...
