a whole house unit it really should be capable of a 50 degree temp rise at 3gpm minimum

I don't think 3gpm is near adequate for a whole house water heater. 50 seems a bit low also. Wonder if there is a standard they must meet to be labeled as whole house? TONY - any idea?
