Clearly you are confused as to how this works. The GPS/RFID hardware system needs to be installed in order for their to be any texts, or tweets or whatever. The texts etc. are the product of the information gathered by the GPS/RFID hardware tracking. Simply put, the hardware detects the student, sends that info to the server which then texts, or tweets, or allows for authorized persons to view the data. It is simply astonishing that I have to repeat this. The site itself explains all of this, and your DD should have made this clear.
