Techi, I appreciate your airing your dissatisfaction. Your dissatisfaction is about my posts did not reveal what you considered as valuable.

Those in the know, in particular the 4G bidders, will know what drop-link problem I am talking about, and can do their due diligence to find out more. The only thing I am apologizing is that the new patent law changed my mind about giving the patent numbers. Take for example IDCC's announcement about possible sale of the company, etc., triggered a series of SP drops. IMO, whenever there is a potential change, there is a reaction. The larger is the change, the larger the reaction. Selling a company is a large change, and we all have seen the reaction to that. A change in US law is certainly a large change, and the waves it creates will be felt for years to come. Like the IDCC announcement, to some it is an opportunity, with which they can make money and jump to it, but to some a disaster. In any case, we have to be careful. With the patent law change, it is a huge opportunity to hundreds of corporations, nut maybe a misfortune to countless individuals. To me, I am just being careful.

For WM, he fought the change when it was a proposal, but now it is a law, being a good citizen, he has to accept it. For the corporation that depends on the buying, leasing, and selling the patents for survival, it is only politically prudent to embrace it. Or maybe WM already figured out a way to profit from this opportuniy. I as a citizen, just don't like the big waves it will create. The little life boat I am in just may not survive the storm.

By the way, one rotten apple among 1.4M sounds like a very secure system to me. You can hold a different opinion.
Thanks for responding.
