Yes, that is basically how wedges are drilled. We are drilling in 50 meter spacing increments to define this zone. To drill a 700m deep hole costs around $250k so it would be very spendy to pepper the ground with 700m holes. So instead, you go down to the chosen depth and wedge off. If I recall, we've done 4 or sometimes 5 wedges in at least some holes. So, for example, in a 700m hole at 500m you send out the wedges at an angle so that the wedge hole ends up 50 meters away and the wedge hole itself is about 200m long(total 700m with the original 500m plus 200m). As you can see this preserves the 50m spacing which will be used to calculate the resource as well as giving you the extra 700m holes at (about) a 200m price.

Hope this helps.

820,
In response to your post, that sounds on target.Gary stated
that it is cheaper to drill a wedge than to start a new hole.
Another colleague said the same thing in an article I read a while back.It looks like they try to trace or track down in the direction or drill at the angle they think the direction of the high grade gold in headed.(JMO).When money is limited you have to use it wisely(make your shots count). That's why Gary mentioned that they are drilling wedges in high grade gold areas already found,so they they can build ounces as efficiently as possible for the N43-101 that is about to take place. In the meantime I
am looking forward to drill results on the next 9 holes as the rest of us.

Steven820,
That is my understanding as well. It is the degree of the angle that is unclear.
