I can certainly vouch for the fact that drilling a fresh hole is much more expensive than wedging. I'll have to dig some more to find the cost differential benchmarks discussed previously. I just can't remember the figures. The depth of course is a big factor. I thought it was $300,000 for a main hole of 700 meters and $60,000 for the average wedge-to-date but I could be wrong.
