Inong, Hopefully the next newsletter will explain it a lot better. Not sure how it will help revenues long or short term I just trust (and I do) they know what they are doing.

good question.

i have a guess..

this partnership with Aon comes with a minimum guarantee. they likely established discounted pricing within this also. a company the size of Aon with it's clientele wouldn't go through all of the PR, legal, approvals, etc.. etc.... for a product like this unless it will be used.

my guess is they'll be moving significantly more units of the pro version than we'll see in the short term through consumer facing.

you have to consider the corporations that employ Aon's services and why they do... RISK MANAGEMENT. this has a lot to do with minimizing deaths and keeping employees efficient- but it also has a lot to do with preventing law suits.

corporations are obsessed with safety precautions and procedures that keep them out of the court room.

here is how I see it. As noted by carjockey

Nobody has to respond but did you look at the list of clients that AON has...it's sick. Kraft foods, ING, Prudential, Starwood hotels, ect, ect, ect.

AON's job is to lower risk for these companies that have thousands upon thousands of employees. There insurance costs are astronomical. Let's say they evaluate phoneguard and place a 5% reduced cost for risk for company "A" Company "A" may be spending upwards of 10 million dollars on insurance. Obviously company "A" is big. Let's just say Kraft foods. How much money do they save per year? How many phoneguard apps are purchased for each and every employee. I'm sure there will be a more economical package deal but none the less a very large purchase.

I like where they are going with this. Not only is phone guard going for each indivdual sale. IE you and me but also for corporation sales. Could you imagine if every msft, apple, cisco, orcle kraft, po, employee had to have a anti texting device on there phone? Pretty big stuff.

And maybe, just maybe, state laws will push the issue a little farther. Many states already have anti texting while driving. Let the others take note and do the same. I still believe Insurance companies will be on this with discounts. We get discounts for everything on car insurance. Let's add this one to the list!!
