One, the CFO was not highly paid.
Two, when you are selling the company, you don't get rid of the sales team and you don't have senior management positions filled with contractors. You certainly don't get rid of the CFO and replace him with a controller. Investors put a great deal of weight on existing management. To sell a company without management is a fire sale.
Three, they really need a few more Qs of significant revenue increases. Otherwise, they will give this away to pay off debt. Right now the growth rate is an anomaly.
