A&M may be anticipating claw backs and be willing to bill as much as possible, i.e. slow this down, all the while preparing the POR 7 for after the judge's opinion - Easy time management decision.
Maybe because he already has exposed WGM to fraud, malpractice, etc and has no choice but to ride this to the end.
Maybe he has the "s" parachute button (signed term sheet for everything EC wants from the evil triad) to push at the last second of the last minute ........already signed in his briefcase.......to throw out when neccessary. But if he can make us disappear at little to no cost the "firm" then he gets a large bonus instead of a millstone.
