Jim .. What Corp_Buyer doesn't understand is the board is very capable of running the company and if changes have to be made they have a greater understanding of the company than he or the ISS does.

Actually no one here understands better than Corp that this current IDCC BOD will continue to demonstrate how capable they are of running the company in a manner that will best build shareholder value. He now knows that he has limited time to execute his takeover on the cheap before WS reaches the same conclusion about the BOD that you and many others here have. IMO that could be as soon as six months, albeit with low probability, but with an equally low probability that it will not exceed 24 months. Tick, tock Corp is on the clock.

BTW, when someone like Corp says something makes it "easier for him" you can take it to the bank that you have just made it harder for him. If he really believed that you were helping him with this list why wouldn't he just keep quiet about it and let you continue to compile it? Why would he start his own list in opposition? This is one transparent M&A guy and in the end that will be his undoing I predict.

Heartland owns almost an astounding 8% of IDCC's stock..It represents their largest single holding by far..out of 378 positions and 70% more than their 2nd largest holding..They must see something of value in IDCC..

Have to respectfully disagree with your post. Who nominate and compensate the Board? Never bite the hand that feed you.

PBS has a segment on the Rev Jim Jones yesterday. Many who blindly believe in and follow him end up in a better place, but still dead.

If Harry or anyone else has to be replaced the board will do it.
