Thankfully this has not effected any of my stocks through Scottrade.

I freaked out when I first saw it about two months ago and then after researching I found out it was old news then. If i am not mistaken this came out from Penson in February. Research it on their website, it is on there with the date of release. Could be wrong about the date, but never the less it has been out for months.

It's something to do with the way a small company "hands over" shares to penson and then only by paper. Again it has nothing to do with individual investors. I am no expert on this but from what I understand this WILL NOT AFFECT ELECTRONIC TRADING of GRDO or any other penny stock for that matter.The best thing to do is call your broker, they can explain everything.
