Unfortunately, as the morning moves toward the afternoon, I'm starting to think - as was the case yesterday - that we wont hear anything today. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if the news was announced tomorrow am, shortly before the ASM. If I recall correctly, the company has a history in the last few years of making announcements right before the ASM.

I too can not believe we did not hear anything as of yet, but then again this is IDCC we are talking about. If the decision/award was suppose to be decided by 5/31/05, I guess it did not mean they needed to be told by then. The scarey part is that maybe they do know and it was not what they expected and therefore they may be trying to figure out how to announce the outcome with a spin on it, trying to do damage control. I don't know what actually is going on, but I get nervous every time something of importance is suppose to happen that supposedly is going to make IDCC run upwards. Generally there is a negative shortly thereafter and that has become the business as usual mantra connected to this company.

This is what happens when people set expectations (about when we should hear something) in their minds only.

We shouldn't set concrete dates in our minds when we really don't have a clue as to what's going on. The company is not disappointing us, we are disappointing ourselves.
