Yoda, I applaud your efforts, particularly your report on your trip to LTUS facilities. While way too much fraud has been alledged and uncovered recently on china stocks, I do feel that LTUS has been much more forthright than most, perhaps excluding their comments about the progess of their construction on their new Beijing facility.
While I haven't sold my position in LTUS, it has gone from a major position to a rather minor one simply because of the huge decline in the stock price. I continue to hold because I believe that the CEO has the ability and the resolve to right the ship, while most investors have pretty much given up here. IMO, and on the basis of risk vs return, the odds are good that the stock price will recover smartly at some point.
Because it is now a minor position for me and because I am an investor who buys stocks that I believe are undervalued by the market without an interest in managing them myself, I am inclined to pass on your activist interest group. I'm just not that interested in helping to fund others taking future trips to China to inspect the progress and meet with management. Personally, I think that Dr. Liu could well come to resent such an activist group...the chinese are proud and this has been Dr. Liu's baby since inception. Another factor is that he owns almost 40% of the outstanding shares so in reality he has the votes to pretty much do what he wants to anyway.
