I have tried to explain to everyone that an attorney is not bound by an oral statement in Court that the case will be settled. Sometimes, the final papers don't get memorialized until much later. Everyone thinks tomorrow is D-Day. You're wrong. If a deal is not consummated by June 28, 2011, then I would worry. The recent cancellation of the depos for some particular individuals of interest should put your fears at rest. If you see Notices to Depose on PACER, then run for the hills. But until then relax like the Voodoo :)
