I respectfully submit that you’re looking at the situation backwards. Bimonthly dosing (after the initial loading period) is already the de facto SoC for Lucentis in AMD, and the CATT study produced no data to change this. So, like it or not, bimonthly dosing of Lucentis is what Trap will have to compete against in the real world.

they will scan in the real world for VEGF trap as well. That~s the way they work. the Retinal specialists did not like the routine administration of lucentis and wanted to do more to treat patients. they were used to using a laser when lucentis was launched and felt they could still do more hands on treatment if they used OCT on lucentis pts. beleive me, they want to do this. they don~t want to be injections mills.
