Like Hasher, I get those too but mostly as faxes: real glib, supposedly addressed to Dr Somebody-or-other but arriving at my desk with no little fax number at the top to show who it came from. Text makes reference to previous recommendations over the last couple of months (easy enough to come up with if the scammer is writing it after the fact) and promises "this one" will be even bigger. Sometimes I watch that day and the next and the touted stock usually goes up 25 percent or so before falling back.
Speaking of touting, I got into MOBL this morning at .266 (now at .268) Not sure if I'll keep it beyond Friday, but should be good for a 3-day pop if nothing else.

Caradoc
