#571 RE: peregrinepickle #570

For what it's worth, my last shipment of PAZ came from California this winter when the nights in AZ were very cold. My latest blood work showed my C-Reactive Protein shot up to 12 from 2.75. I haven't had a level that high since I started using PAZ, but then I was always picking it up directly from the headquarters in Scottsdale, Az. When I opened my last shipment the bottles were still cold, so I suspect they might has gotten very cold, or frozen in transit. Not a good sign, at least from an anecdotal view...

peregrine,

I too have concerns about PAZ being frozen .... however not concerned about it right now.

HEPI is shipping to Xooma via ground freight as far as I know. My orders from Xooma have been delivered via UPS Ground.

There are other ways to deliver PAZ in bulk that significantly reduces freezing potential (bulk tote).

Based on the delivery options available, I'd say Xooma uses "ground" service for basic delivery in the US. Air Freight is an option for higher delivery fees.

HEPI has previously announced a couple years ago that freezing more or less destroys the bioactive in PAZ ...... rendering it non effective.

The new Xooma labels do not mention freezing.

Your question is best directed to HEPI and Xooma.
