in order to take advantage of current metal prices, one would already have to be mining imo. the development of the caldera is going to take a good long time imo. we just need some news that confirms what we think we know LOL

indeed, I was thinking the same
7 pebbles.... 7 PEBBLES, one would think LBSR woulb be speeding to prove the claims in order to get Billion dollar mining companies interested

AT this point i believe there are only to scenarios:

1 - LBSR is testing the claims but so far nothing valuable has been retrieved, so nothing to PR about

2 - LBSR has no cash to explore the claims and the money invested by NAK is not enough, so they are just waiting for some kind of mega JV to give them all the resources they need,... not likely i guess we would have heard something from the Big companies by now...

Common sense tells me that if Briscoe is free to negotiate a better deal, LBSR is in no hurry to finalize a deal with NAK until all other possibilities are exhausted. The good thing is his partnership with NAK right now is leverage in scouting out other interested parties.

"Once the bubble bursts on metal prices"

The world has never seen this type of demand, ever. It can bubble eventually, but right now every indicator is that commodities are king. Oil prices may derail the recovery temporarily, but the world needs copper and currencies need gold backing.

Then perhaps you didn't watch the news lately on population growth VS commodities. Gold and all other metals do not seem to be in a bubble. In fact, because people are now living longer and world population continues to grow at a speedily rate; some are realizing a potential shortfall of metals, food, lumber, concrete, oil, etc. The world has never seen todays population and we could see more turmoil being fought over food as the Middle East fires up with another round of anger maybe even in Saudi Arabia. Lack of food, unemployment and cruel regimes may lead the world into a mess never thought of in history. Therefore, those who invest in commodities-based products should do very well, IMO. Liberty Star Uranium & Metals can make up for much of the worlds needs as china now cuts back exports for their own survival. All said, Keep watching the news . . . something new every day is unfolding. You may want to read the following links in order to catch up.
