"Besides Moto, what are the other failed litigation efforts?" - surely you are joking, right? I still feel the pain of:

* Samsung - lost the MFL issue
* Nec - pennies on the dollar claimed
* Ericy - pennies on the dollar claimed
* Nok - intervention - lost
* Nok - discovery and access to sealed documents - lost
* Nok - UK - it seems IDCC lost some initial issues. The judge awarded attorney's fees to Nok.
* Nok - reinstatement of adverse patent PSJs - lost (but on appeal, this matter is very expensive, possibly very damaging to our IPR, and was easily avoidable IMO)
* Nok - the fact that we are even in such a "scorced earth" litigation (to use IDCC's description) is already a huge LOSS attributable at least in part to the lack of business acumen by our top leadership IMO. We can never make up for the lost time (last 2 years) and stalled licensing of new customers.

So now it appears IDCC's claim against Layerone was dismissed without prejudice, after some 60+ court filings, which is followed by an expensive patent purchase from a mysterious source management wants to keep secret? Hmmmm.
