NOK gets an extra thirty days, which is not unusual, in light of IDCC's extension.

But why did the parties agree that IDCC only gets 15 days to respond, even though IDCC hasn't the slightest idea what NOK's reponse will look like.

JK. Nokia asked for the extension because InterDigital's motion to dismiss was like a swift punch in the face. Nokia is stumbling back and reaching for the ropes.

We are heading into the final round. What remains to be seen is whether InterDigital will be required to deliver the knockout blow, or if Nokia will concede, and settle for a TKO.
