i agree with you det. i think if ptqmf(thats what i own) keeps on upgrading there facility, like they said 40% more production in 14 weeks, said it in november. and expand there project, there is no telling how big we can become. that is once the market is aware of us. must say it is amazing how the mm kept the price @1.00 or > for this time period, i never knew such things existed. I want to thank this board i am learning alot of you guys. lets go ptqmf daddy needs a new pair of shoes. (want them made of gold) maybe i can buy them by the end of next week

I agree completely, DVM...but like a previous poster, I just don't have any handle on what their competitive edge might be, or whether or not they can or are free to "undercut" any competition they might have, or what the margins are now.

And would they go "intl"...as in try to make a market in surrounding central or south amer. countries? Brazil for one is busting wide open in the mining sector with lots of new projects not that far away, along with Columbia, now, and Ecuador, and then northern Peru...to the north Guatemala, and some now in Nicaragua...even perhaps southern Mexico. But how difficult is it for "foreign" companies, such as PDI would be to them, to gain entry...at what cost...and with what profit margins? I just don't have any of the details to know that...anyone here that does?

For those reasons, I believe investors' rationale for buying should be focused on PTQ primarily...and leave PDI as frosting on the cake, ie, hoping you like the flavor, but knowing you can scrape it off if you don't and still enjoy the cake...

That's why you're one of my asst mods, DVM ... I like the way you think! ;-) Haven't heard from eom7 in a while. Might have to replace him with In4 with his TA expertise.

You bring up a good point about the market dynamics of Panama. We're talking about an entire country that has a smaller population than the greater metro area of Los Angeles. How much demand is chasing that infrastructure supply? I want to know more about the engineering expertise of PDI. We know they can dig a hole and build a road, but can they build a bridge?

The canal project might be a good, immediate source of income in terms of digging and road building. With the way the Panamanian economy is expanding, they're sure to need more infrastructure.

What I want to know is what does PDI exactly do? Are they entirely civil engineering? Are they just roads and bridges? Do they build houses? Skyscrapers? An operational definition of PDI's mission would be very helpful, imo.
