Incredibly cynical view of the case, and the country. I don't think this case is even on the radar screen of the government. Other than the parties directly impacted by the outcome, no one cares. The FDIC is not worried, JPM has already reserved enough money to fight on indefinitely, and together with the Bondholders, they all seem to have the cards and the time to play them. We don't like it, but the longer this situation continues, the harder it will be for common equity to win.
To suggest the Judge is or would be compromised, is just wrong without any evidence. Give her a chance and be prepared to win or lose.

The only thing I cant get past is the WHY? WHY would you go through the motions (and two years) to cancel equity now? Now that we have proven beyond a reasonable doubt, that this fish stinks?

Why not do it 2 years ago when there was only a few people really involved? --Compared to thousands and thousands now. Why start the train that is very very hard to stop? Maybe only a couple hundred eyes before knew about WaMu and a possible shady deal- compared to hundreds of thousands now.

why?

NJ I would like a response since you have never or rarely responded to a post of mine, compared to the 20-30 replies you have received from me.
