That all spells chaos in the markets. Chaos is exactly what we see before major moves up or down. Everyone is scrambling with no real understanding of what's about to happen. Me and Ataglance have been talking for the last few years about impending collapse, but who really knows what the outcome will be. I've been wrong many times.
One common trend in the markets is more and more dufuses trading witlessly. When I first started trading there was a real embrace of charting and attempts at understanding fundamentals. The trend has retreated towards momentum plays.. A pointless endeavor that takes all the finesse out of the game and turns one from a sniper into a hack with a shotgun. We can thank many things and people for this trend.. Jim Cramer helped in turning trading from an educated man's game to professional wrestling-esque barbarism.
