Oh I see it changing. I've seen it change from the early 80s where everyone looked at the PE in the newspaper and traded based on that and recommendations from their broker. It's changed already and will change again. The world trades as though it's capitalistic but is it really? Equities rallying on USD fundamental weakness? Is it really even fundamental or just purported to be because of the current administration and the Fed? How long does it last? Who knows, I just know it's evolved since the newspaper days and destined to evolve again. And probably backward to a more proper and SANE valuation of peer-valued contributions to the big picture.
