Lawyer says, "yes, here's my fee schedule"
IMGG hires lawyer and make whiny shareholders happy.
What lawyer would turn away a client on the grounds they might not be able to win? Hiring a lawyer guarantees nothing. If all you had to do was hire a lawyer to get through a 510k, then there wouldn't be 10,000+ devices stuck in limbo in the 510k process.
In my opinion they are just buying time to get the machine to work.
