svenm This Certicom offering uses INTC WTP

it sounds like Wave Systems is in the Intel WTP. When i read the specs on the Intel WTP it sounds like a replay of what they are offering in their next generation desktops/laptops.

Same thing.

svenm, re: Certicom ETS

It looks to me like the Certicom Security Architecture, including their ETS and BSP products, is actually a superset of solutions that does include support for TPM-based systems.

I suppose we would need to see a detailed explanation of how the the Certicom tools are used to implement a TPM-based solution to know where and/or how they might overlap with Wave's offerings.

I think the take-away from the Certicom ETS brochure is that they provide a common API to numerous different security technologies, both hardware and software, which reduces learning curve and increases speed to market - clearly aimed at manufacturing.

Again, I can see why you would make the CSP comparison but I'm not sure this is the same market that Wave is addressing.

I am not a Certicom expert, this is just my opinion from reading the brochure and a bit of their website.
