I see it more as a combination of people getting tired of waiting for it to pop, coupled with investors on the sidelines that have a "show me the $$, show me the financials, and show me the profit".

Some would rather wait for confirmation from the company of revenues and see that as a sound philosophy for what others would call chasing it.
Not a bad way to do it though

edit: also, the pps is reflecting the increase in OS
