#68303 RE: lymmas #68249

lymmas,
Appreciate the response.
re: "But unless he acting as a hedge fund representative who is short EIGH I am not sure why this is pertinent to EIGH."

Given that the entire Short Interest in EIGH on September 15, 2010 was 11,500 I doubt that is the case.

The linked NASD statement from 2000 says:

Roberto Gonzalez Villasenor, Jr.
(CRD # 1031313, Registered
Representative, New York, New
York) submitted an Offer of
Settlement pursuant to which he
was fined $5,000 and suspended
from association with any NASD
member in any capacity for 30
business days. The fine shall be
due and payable prior to
reassociation with a member firm
following the suspension or prior to
any application requesting relief
from a statutory disqualification.
Without admitting or denying the
allegations, Villasenor consented to
the described sanctions and to the
entry of findings that he failed to
provide his member firm with
written or oral notice of his
participation in outside business
activities. (NASD Case
#C10000005)

The specific allegations were that he failed to notify his employer that he participated in private securities transactions......violating one of the rules of the organization of which the firm that employed him was a member, resulting in a fine and a 30 day suspension.

If this is the act that ryanmly referred to when he stated "Roberto Gonzalez Villasenor Jr. was a criminal" it is an inaccurate statement. And for you to refer to that NASD rule violation as "illegal trading activities" is an inaccurate description.

If I was Villasenor, I would now be looking for 2 apologies.
