Yes, I really think they have been making low ball offers to the Ec since July 8th and probably since the June 17th hearing. I wish we could know what numbers they reached. Maybe we would be surprised of the offers the EC has rejected.
What is sure to me is that not Mr. S not Mr. Willingham are going to accept less than fair value.
This is going to be BIG. Just wish they finally accept the EC pretensions and pay what the EC requires.

rramirez82, I always appreciate your posts, but do you really believe JPM paid off Rosen? I don't. I think Rosen is doing what WMI wants him to do. My hunch is that there is a bunch of dirt under not only JPM and the FDIC's nails, but also WMI's. Such that Rosen has conceded that the enemy (JPM/FDIC) of my enemy (EC)--the ones looking to uncover as much as possible, thus opening many doors that all parties would like to remain closed--is my friend. I think we need to seriously consider the fact that WMI is dirty, too. As for what sort of ramifications that would have on the outcome of this case, I'm not sure.

(b.) shredding any/all materials they can, while crashing their own servers to impede the examiner's investigation.

Isn't it true that the majority of documents, e-mails and phone correspondence can be found elsewhere like Iron Mountain, ATT people that wouldturn on JPM/FDIC to avoid DOJ investigation?

My guess is that our adversaries and their counsel are burning the midnight oil either (a.) running the numbers and making offers to the EC or (b.) shredding any/all materials they can, while crashing their own servers to impede the examiner's investigation. My only contention is that your window should be extended through and until August 6th - when the appointed examiner files a document itemizing the scope of his or her investigation with the court. I wouldn't be surprised to see JPM wait until the examiner is appointed so it could try and pay him or her off in the same way it might have paid off Rosen. We are dealing with corruption and power at the highest levels

I agree with your train of thought rramirez. Nothing suprises me at this point, as we are dealing w/ "wrath of God" levels of money. If our long-held beliefs (of our adversaries not being willing to undergo true discovery due to the tremendous tortious liability exposure)..are correct, then settlement talks must be going on right now at a furious rate. If not.....and in fact an Examiner begins fact-gathering in a serious manner, then this is going to get very messy. There will be alliances shredded, finger pointing, factual misdirections, etc etc. I guess like watching Desperate Housewives lol. - JMHO.

Makes you wonder if an IT Tech working along the way had saved some files??? That would be a gold mine...... Like say replace a hard drive and conveniently kept the old one.... all it takes is someone's desk unit....
