XOM: You outdid yourself here.. Excellent Job! If I remember correctly Quinn was brought in as Conflicts Counsel. They also handled the Discovery of JPM and totally botched that deal, in return backing off when they lost the 2004-1 request. Still had the original 2004 which they never completed and undermined the effort, by not pursuing the parties individually as Judge Walrath alluded to when she turned down Erica Taggart's request of 3rd parties.

What looks bad for Quinn is they were brought in to do the litigation because Rosen and Weil are conflicted against JPM. If they billed the estate for work they never did, that constitutes BK fraud. Interesting how a sealed doc... HUM can change a case.

I wonder what it could be ????

Good Job on recollection posts. Resolution soon.

XOM, thanks for taking the time to put that all together. Truly fabulous.

“Should have held out for more” was the phrase of the day and speaks volumes about what is now starting to run down the pipeline. IMO

But they still can hold out for more. Nothing is final so far right?
More money, more discovery, whatever. Keep up the heat!
Thanks for your excellent work.

That is one AWESOME PORTRAYAL of the gig. Yes, the word gig is cheap and for that term I need not apologize.
You mindfull posters with such beatifull work such as yours, XOM is precious and your effort is beyond the capabillity of so many on this forum for the pure sense of their/our inabillity to so eloquently portray the gathering and dissemination of facts as the facts can be portrayed. THANK YOU XOM.
Most of us...and I say that with an assuming posture which is clearly flawed have pretty much decided our feelings on where we are headed in due time.

Excellent analysis, XOM.

I must admit I have never been as anxious over what to expect as I am right now (or will be until the next hearing on 07/21). Susman has my trust and confidence, and I believe he is making things happen for us soon. Rosen is out of rope while JPM/FDIC and their cronies know they are out of time.

Great recap. We heard that Weil, Quinn, and the Creditors attorneys were mad or looking a bit greensick. However, there hasn't been any metion of the reaction (or look) of the JPM & FDIC teams. That may give us a better clue of whether or not this is on it's way to a quick settlement of more of a conflict issue.

Last month WAMUQ proposed splitting almost $10 billion in cash and tax refunds with JPMorgan and the FDIC in exchange for an agreement not to sue them. Shareholders are looking for information on how the Company put a value on the settlement. Under the proposal, shareholders would get nothing.

WAMUQ said its disclosure statement hearing was moved to July 7. A disclosure statement must be approved so the Company can begin putting its reorganization plan to a vote. A related dispute over information sharing would also be heard on that day.

I am new here. Can anyone tell me what this means? Can wamu settle and share holders get nothing? Does this have anything to do with the quote,"they should of held out for more".

What I am trying to say is that these guys at wamu are the bad guys too. Sneaky Bean Counters all of them.
Is this the wrong way to be looking at it?
