For example, EC controls about 19% of common shares as per Venable's filing. EC also control 500,000 shares of WAMPQ and a ton of WAMKQ. That alone would give us at least 3-4 seats on the board. 2 from WAMUQ and 2 from WAMPQ.

Do U have a link to that Venable filing? I dont recall EC owning that many shares. 19% of commons would be well above 320 million shares.

Desperado

I totally agree.
Getting the new BOD is the most important issue here.
If we get the examiner on top of that that is even better.

But if I have to choose between the examiner and the new BOD, I would definetely choose the new BOD.

Then, fire Rosen and Susman takes over the whole BK case for WMI. What could be better?

Desperado90, JPM doesn't need to get appointed to WAMU BOD's positions.... All they have to do is ensure some of their friends (big individual investors, small brokerage firms, insurance companies, etc, etc) get appointed... JPM has lots and lots of friends willing to help them (in return for favors down the road)..

Everybody is dying for a shareholders meeting when we're not even sure we have enough votes to elect a majority of pro Equity Committee BODs.....

Have you ever heard of the old cliche, "be careful what you wish for, ....".
