..." One can now add two patents that describe certain elements of CORE technology UNDERLYING self encrypting hard drives. ...."
I have only one question (which usually becomes three questions) ...
IF these two patents describe CORE technology UNDERLYING self encrypting hard drives ...
and
IF self encryping hard drives currently exist and are being sold
THEN ... what royalties are these patents currently earning??
They are "CORE" and they "UNDERLY" SEDs, which are currently shipping, so what money have these patents been making for RT? OR is RT not enforcing the patents? OR what?
I heard about some patents some time ago and that APPL et al were very aware of them with some sort of confident chuckle, I think is was Peter Sprague giving the remarks. AAPL is selling tons of content, I am not aware of Wave getting a penny of that. Sure, the content is not being metered, the bandwidth got fatter and so on ...
but this is different.
SEDs ship TODAY.
RT held two "core" "underlying" patents.
The proof is in the pudding.
Are these patents being stepped on, or are they being hyped?
Lets skip the bashing and skip the hype ...
