A lot of potential buyers will be in a wait-and-see mode for a while until the market stabilizes and future home prices are more predictable. Who in their right mind wants to buy today and find out next week the same exact apartment is selling for 5% to 10% less...not very many, that's for sure :p

Sales Volumes: Cheers Tenenbaum, in the paragraph before it was price - then they talk about volumes. Sigh, a decline in volume is hardly headline stuff given uncertainty.
