They will only be rich if they have bought while the shares are still selling for pennys.The average employee cost average is multiple dollars and a few thousand shares each.Even a ten dollar settlement would still leave some under water unless they have loaded up with the penny shares.
What's stopping the employees from selling their portfolio stock and them re-buying 5 minutes later in their personal account? I don't think JPM would be stupid enough to buy even 1 share of wamuq stock after forcing 38,000 employees to sell all of their stock. The lawsuit would be outrageous.
