How did they get the shares without a vote or was there one?

I have a stock that at one time increase the AS to 10 billion so that they didn't have to do it again. They later retired the shares. It's really bad to increase the AS by 5B. I don't know if it's as better, as bad or worse to increase it by 1 billion several time over a year. Get it out of the way and let the naysayers have at it. If you're going to dig a hole and you're unsure how deep to dig it, might as well dig it deeper than you need it. I guess I'm saying we've dug a deep hole. Just how far down we go is unknown. Maybe we can fill it in later and ever build a little mound of dirt.
