This email reply is disappointing (I received the same response from them by the way). Seriously, they talked to the guy and he couldn't give them an update worth reporting. This guy has had this information since Oct. 30th and he hasn't done anything worthy of notice.

If I knew this guy at FINRA I would personally kick him in the balls and tell him his lack of productivity is pissing me off!

It's almost been 2 months...let me say that again, "2 MONTHS". If I ever switch jobs I know where I'm applying!

I am neither concerned nor surprised by the response you received. In most government offices - if the request is in process regardless if you are calling regarding the status of an application/request or if you have more specific questions - you are going to only hear 'it's in process' or 'you will be notified when a decision has been reached' - Nothing more or less will be said.

This is a standard response. Just IMO from my experiences working with and for the government in the past. But also it is nothing to be overly concerned about at this point. Watch things - yes - But to get angry or be so emotional right now is futile. All just IMO.
