If you are right about why we are in Iraq, then indeed Bush lied to the American people. Assuming that oil is indeed the reason, there are many other non bellicose ways to achieve the same goal, including a trans-siberian pipe line financed by us (at much less than the cost of the Iraqi adventure and with future returns, rather than a sink hole) to pipe Siberian oil to the west coast. No, the Iraq adventure was part and parcel of the "American Century" ideology and it calls for regime changes in both Iran and Syria, Bush cheated us once and he'll find a way to cheat us again to support these adventures. He fooled me once, and that is enough. Bush is a major problem for us and for the Republican party, if he wins this time, the Republican party will go into a quarter of a century in the wilderness of minority party. Any Republican that think for himself understands that, including Eisenhower (the son) and will thus vote against Bush. Bush is a clear and present danger to the US and the Republican party.
