I tried to get a local pharmasist on the WaMu train and his broker wouldnt buy it for him...

One of the officers I used to work with talked to his broker and they told him it was "dead"...

Do brokers just set behind a desk and buy the easy stuff and not do any DD ??

no wonder so many of them end up in jail.

Wow. I don't like the content of what you said but I will agree that this stock acts like one who has a predetermined buy out price. I don't say that cause I'm an expert but I have been burned several times and recognize the drill at least a little bit. I don't care. I'm still in!

I am a broker, with a very large firm, and there is no information out there about a settlement. In fact, I was listening to a call today from our research guys, and they were suggesting JPM..no mention at all of any liability with WAMU, nothing! There is no information available, and unless you are trading through JP Morgan Chase or a subsidiary, no one has any knowledge.

My broker is Fidelity. Before I started trading WAMUQ, I was given their best comission level of "Gold"- $8 and 5% for pinks. Now that I have been trading WAMUQ, ALL trades are $8. Sometimes thats a $200 dicount! Dang, they sure must like WAMUQ.
Oh, never any blackouts on certain pinks!
