**Brokers are pretty much useless. My Schwab 'broker' called me months ago and basically yelled at me because I was in so many PK plays. After I made 300, 400% on most if not more I called him back and asked what he thought of the fact that I outperformed the market by almost 500% or so. He told me I got lucky and hung up, lol.
Remember, brokers are trained very 'classically'. Part of that training is that BK stocks are dead, and stay away from PK, and OTCBB stocks. These are the same guys that probably lost their clients millions since the stock market crashed, lol.
I am 99% confident that most brokers would never even bother to look at the Wamu story or court cases. Which is why they will be in shock and awe when its settled. Of course, they will say we all got lucky and go back to trying to squeeze 5% out of some mutual fund.
