We are now under the rule of people who love socialism. IMO they make FDR seem like Milton Friedman. And it is not limited to Washington. States are raising taxes to meet their budgets, which is a very unenlightened thing to do during a time to high unemployment.
What is really scary is that stimulus money has been highjacked by States to keep State and county workers employed. What happens when the Federal trough dries up--no more Federal handouts.
As long as you hve elected officials who don't have a clue, this economy will continue to stagnate.
