Data, now that options expiration is behind us and all of those calls expired worthless, we are more likely to hear positive news in the next few days. That has been the usual luck of IDCC (just like the LG announcement, all of my calls expired worthless only to get the news the following Tuesday).

I definitely think negotiations are still ongoing and expect a settlement by the commission date of Dec 14th. The big hurdle will be to see if the comission reviews the ruling, if they do than I expect talks to heat up before the decision. While NOK did win this round I feel they also know that recently the commission has overturned cases at a little less than 50% which is a pretty big gamble to take knowing IDCC only needs 1 claim out of 16 to get the ban. On the other hand IDCC knows it has less than 50% chance to overturn the decision and if in fact it goes to the comission and they don't overturn it, IDCC will be pretty much stuck with the decision. I think there is plenty of incentive on both sides to settle this and hope they do. Much rather have a smaller settlement than another 3-4 year legal battle which may or may not put IDCC in better position to get a settlement.
