I think IDCC has more appeal process than Nokia does. I think IDCC can go to a federal court of appeals, but Nokia has to have a presidential review, or I think thats the way I understand it. I can't say I understand if a federal court of appeals is easier or worse than having to depend on a presidential review. I think Nokia would be facing a ban, and IDCC would be facing proving what they think is right. So Nokia has a bigger problem I would think as a ban is pretty strong stuff. Then you add the additional value that it would make the patents worth, and I still think thats a mighty big risk for Nokia. The price of poker would be a all in move for Nokia, and then they would have to still deal with a federal appeals court, and a civil court. Nokia if the case goes IDCC'S way is then hoping for a Presidential favorable ruling or being banned till they can win in a civil court, which could be next year or 3 years later, who knows with the court systems, so mighty high risk for Nokia.
If I have explained this wrong I am sorry but this is my interpretation of the process.
