nice post .. visuals and a calculator always help .. :))
-- interesting to check the volume done per month on spng here ...
warning .. post is long with details and no.s .. :)
volume from aug 08 to feb 09 .. was *consistent* in mar 09 vol spiked by approx 240M+ shares but that *pales* compared to what happened re: vol in april <it doubled march's volume> then in may <volume was 2.5X march's volume> .. june is just *phenomenal* .. <almost 5X march's volume> and last month .. somewhat back to *normal* .. ;-) <only 3X the volume done in march>
with 6 trading days left in august .. volume is approx 580M shares traded so far this month ~
that definitely has piqued my curiosity ..
maybe this visual will help others .. just posted info from jan of 09 ... but included the links so all can *verify*

plan to spend a few hours doing additional dd on spng ~ but i'd say the *usual suspects* are screwed .. in their attempts to cover ~
i literally haven't even checked what the pps was back when i see a divergence <that is feb into mar 09> .. but i can certainly *imagine* it was way less than today ..
