do you KNOW that there are potential criminal and civil claims lurking there, BEYOND what WAMU is already claiming? DO you know this for a fact? I'm not saying JP won't pay, but don't count out a trial yet. Nobody knows what's in those documents.
I could not agree more with this statement. Pay now or face unknown charges and fees later. Dimon who is now "king of Wall Street" will not take the risk of a jail cell next to Maddoff. He will get this baby finished under the table and out of the way of the Press. Did JPMC have anything to do with the demise of Bear Stearns? We do not know, because they bought them up and avoided a lawsuit by just being "nice guys" and with the grace of a good heart paid the shareholders $10PPS for a company that was worth $100PPS not less than 4 months prior. They got away with that one and will get away with this one soon. Discovery is not an option for JPMC.
