I agree. I play the pinks for the occasional adrenalin rush. The paperwork is in, processing is out of the control of the company. It's done when it's done. But it's been a long time. Supposedly four weeks, but it feels longer. I think Newbauer thought it would be done by now, the PRs he's released recently leave the feeling that he held them as long as he could.

I agree with Kermit. I've seen many symbol changes in pinks over the years. It rarely triggers a rally without a subsequent PR drive hyping the new direction of the company. Often it results in a slide as the big hands take advantage of uncertainty and manipulate the price lower.

Keep in mind that not everyone is following the stock as closely as we are and some might have bought on a tip from a friend, and not even understand the symbol change process. If they see the change, then a sharp drop in price, they could panic and dump, playing into the hands of the manipulators.

In MTP's case, my guess is the same as Kermit's, that Mark is waiting until the castle is flying his personal banner before he starts to really pump this. Just a question of timing.

In the meantime, we just need to keep our vision on Mark's clear goal of running this eventually, and not panic sell if the MMs push it down.

As for why the ticker change is taking so long, two thoughts:

1) How long do you usually wait in line at your local Dept of Motor Vehicles to renew your driver's license? Gov't bureaucracy is an exercise in patience.

2) Could be that Mark still has friends loading at current levels and is not pushing it fwd yet. As positive a sense as we have of Mark, we have to remember that he's both a trader (investment banking history) and a businessman. The Ft Wayne crew banked millions in profits from their running of EESO. And they are no doubt planning similar returns for PINR/MTP.

If so, they may be the big hands working through DOMS/HDSN/NITE. The bus will leave the station when all of their pockets are full.
